Some European-US initiatives are setting the standard in data analysis tools for Twitter campaigns. The Digital Methods Initiative is one of them, always sharing Open Source tools for this kind of large scale data analysis for Twitter campaigns.
The tool used by Proyelink was DMI-TCAT, a tool that allowed to capture the Tweets that used certain hashtags in such a way that during a determined period of time a database can be created for a later analysis.

Proyelink put the tool on test during the development of a political campaign at Ecuador in the 2020 presidential campaign with important results that helped to elucidate how Twitter communities behave during a political campaign.
